Deshra Vael of the Scorched Peaks

Deshra Vael was born in the Scorched Peaks, a region where the sun never sets and the wind cuts like glass. A member of the Ashwings, a caste of warriors with hardened copper feathers, Deshra was trained from childhood to hunt from the skies and strike terror into the enemies of King Seth. However, after witnessing the corruption of her people by the dark magic of Tavin Dax, she swore to break her chains and fly free.

Proud, disciplined, and fiercely independent, she believes that freedom is worth more than any kingdom. She often serves as a guide for smugglers or as a mercenary scout for anyone who respects the desert and its laws.
