Nu of the Silent Mirage

Nu is a figure shrouded in mystery, even among his own people. His true face has never been seen, and many believe that beneath his wrappings there is no flesh—only sand, animated by an ancient will. He dwells among the ruins of the Temples of Echo, at the edges of the desert where the wind seems to speak with the voices of the dead.

During the years of Seth’s tyranny, Nu served as a spiritual guide for those fleeing the war, leading lost caravans through impossible storms. Some say he does not walk, but floats above the dust, and that his footsteps leave symbols etched in the sand that only the wise can read.

His staff, the Staff of Resonant Dust, hums with the energy of the desert itself. Through it, he can listen to the memories of the dunes, relive fragments of the past, or unveil hidden lies. Nu rarely fights, but when he does, the ground trembles—and the wind turns to blades.
