Wenwis Fhan

Wenwis Fhan is one of the last Sentinels of the Forgotten Pass, an ancient order of warriors tasked with guarding the secret routes between the desert realms and the northern mountains. He is recognized by his light iron armor and the bronze bird-shaped mask — a symbol of the watchers who see without being seen. No one knows his face, and few have ever heard his voice, for Wenwis speaks only when absolutely necessary.

His shield, crafted from fire-hardened wood, bears the scars of countless battles. Upon his curved blade, the oath of his order can still be read: “The wind is my witness, the sand my grave.” Once, Wenwis was a soldier in the service of Seth of Xaimore, but after witnessing the devastation that the tyrant’s armies brought upon the southern peoples, he renounced the dark banner and became a wanderer without cause, vowing to protect the innocent who cross the ruins of the desert.
