Aervok, the Judgment of the Wind

Aervok was a priest-hunter of the sky cult, chosen to deliver judgment in the name of the storm gods.
His word decreed life or death, and his faith was so absolute that he mistook obedience for truth.
Over time, he began to see impurity even in those who worshiped him; his justice became hunger.

One day, he executed a child for “lying with his eyes,” and the heavens roared against him.
Thunder shattered him, and the wind remade him.
His bones merged with the wings of vultures, his skin darkened with black feathers, and his face kept the expression of a hunter who never apologized.
