Sareth, the Physician of Ashes

Sareth was a healing monk who dwelled in the temples of Aelmar Peak — an order devoted to understanding the soul through the body.
He believed that physical suffering was a doorway to spiritual knowledge, and that one who mastered pain could cure any ailment.

His body fused with the remains of his patients — bones, wings, and fragments of energy intertwined.
From his back sprouted blackened wings, heavy and coarse like petrified ash.
In his right hand he wields a serpentine staff crafted from the vertebrae of his fallen disciples, through which faint lights pulse like living hearts.

Sareth wanders the highest reaches of the Mountain, where the air is so thin that even sound itself struggles to exist.
