Tévanor, the Warden of Silent Tides

Tévanor was a sacred turtle, companion to the first sailors of the ancient kingdom of Atheion.
It was said that its shell held the constellations reflected by the sea, and that its wisdom guided mariners safely home.
For centuries it led ships and souls alike, until men forgot the names of the stars and began to sail driven only by greed.
Then Tévanor fell silent.

His spirit expanded with the deep currents, merging with the fossilized light at the ocean’s floor.
His shell gleams with lilac and greenish hues — not by magic, but by the minerals of the bones resting beneath the waves.
He drifts slowly, always in perfect circles, following the currents he himself once shaped.

Sometimes he rises to the surface during storms, and his presence calms the sea —
but it also bends time, trapping lost ships within endless loops of fog and forgetfulness.
